Effective April 2013 ** South Dakota PUC Ruling

Due to recent court rulings regarding Voluntary Credit Sales (a.k.a. Delayed Price Contracts), the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission Warehouse Division has notified Dakota Plains Ag Center, LLC that we MUST have signed Delayed Price contracts returned to us within 30 days of the first last consecutive day delivery.  If Dakota Plains does not have a signed delayed price contract in our possession 30 days after the first last day of consecutive delivery, the grain will be priced at the day's close and a check will be mailed to you.

For Example: Farmer Joe hauls in grain and places it on delayed pricing.  Joe hauled in on Thursday and Friday of Week #1 and then again on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of Week #2.  All of the grain may be put on one delayed pricing contract, but the contract must be signed within 30 days of the Friday in Week #1 because that was first last day of consecutive hauling.  If not priced by Friday of Week #1, all grain on the contract (all bushels hauled in Week #1 and Week #2) will be priced and a check will be mailed to you.

Corn & Bean Storage

Delayed Price charges will be 6¢/bu/month prorated by the day, and grain must be priced on or before 9/30/14.  Discount scales at time of delivery.

** Please note that sealed bushels CANNOT be applied to Delayed Pricing Contracts! **

Reminder: As you are delivering bushels to fill your contracts, you must notify us on what you want done with your overrun bushels!

If you would like a copy of your assembly sheets for insurance purposes, please ask for copies at the time you request your grain check.  Thanks! ~ DPAC Staff
