New Policies

** Effective Immediately **

New soybean discount schedules due to issues on quality

Test Weight based on 55#'s
(previous 54#'s)
1¢/per bushel discount below 55#'s

Splits allowed 10%
(previously allowed 20%)
3¢/per bushel discount over 10% splits

The PNW export market apparently had to make these changes to match up with the
sales made to the Pacific Rim on #1 soybeans.

Policy Changes

Market Mania!     Due to the recent and on-going volatility of the grain markets, the resulting potential risks to our customers, and the capital-consuming margin calls, Dakota Plains has implemented a few changes with regards to grain contracts.

* We will apply deliveries to contracts first, starting with the oldest.  If you would like to cash a load at the scale, you may create a new contract, assuming you have the bushels to cover all of your obligations.

* Contract balances will be cleaned up at the end of each delivery period or before settlement is made.

* Grain contracts cannot be rolled from one crop year to the next crop year. However contracts can be rolled once within that crop year with management approval. Fees will apply.

NO CASH BIDS

* IF MARKETS ARE LOCKED "LIMIT DOWN" ON A COMMODITIY
WE WILL HAVE NO CASH BIDS ON THAT COMMODITY UNTIL THEY START TRADING "BETTER",
YOU MAY DO A BASIS CONTRACT OR PUT IN AN OPEN ORDER
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE GIVE US A CALL!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION *

TRADING

** Please note that we trade off of the board during
ALL trading sessions, including:

Evening Session: 6:00pm - 7:15am

If you have any questions what so ever please give us a call!
THANK-YOU!
