Please Check Corn Varieties Planted - Some Varieties are NOT Approved for Export!!

In November 2013, China began rejecting grain shipments that contained traces of Syngenta's Agrisure Viptera (MIR 162) and the Agrisure Duracade.  These traits are not yet approved for export, therefore Dakota Plains will not be accepting corn with these traits.

Dakota Plains plans to randomly check loads delivered for these traits and we reserve the right to reject loads with unapproved traits found in them.

If you have planted corn with the traits listed above, please contact your seed sales representative to help you find an appropriate use for the corn, as we will not be able to receive corn that has not been approved for export.

Notice: Change in Wheat Check-off Fee

Effective: July 1, 2014

The South Dakota Legislature passed House Bill 1081 to revise the computation of the Wheat promotional fee (checkoff) from the current one and one half cent (1.5¢) per bushel to four-tenths of one percent (.4%) of the value of the net market price per bushel.

(Example: $6.50 x .4% (.004) = 2.6¢ per bushel.)

Reminder: As you are delivering bushels to fill your contracts, you must notify us on what you want done with your overrun bushels!

If you would like a copy of your assembly sheets for insurance purposes, please ask for copies at the time you request your grain check.  Thanks! ~ DPAC Staff
